Draft: being updated for Brick & Mortar

Terms of Service — Brick and Mortar RP

Last updated: 29 September 2026 (Twitch companion added)

These terms cover the Brick and Mortar RP FiveM roleplay server, our Discord community and its Diamond Discord bot, and the Brick and Mortar extension on Twitch streams (together, "the service"). The server runs on our own Diamond Framework. By joining our Discord server, using the bot, or connecting to the game server, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What the service is

Brick and Mortar RP is a community-run roleplay server for Grand Theft Auto V, played through the FiveM modification. The Diamond Discord bot connects that game server to our Discord community — it reports server status, relays messages, links Discord accounts to game accounts, and gives our staff moderation tools.

The service is provided free of charge, for entertainment, and is run by volunteers.

2. Who may use it

You must meet Discord's own minimum age requirement for your country, and you must own a legitimate copy of Grand Theft Auto V. You are responsible for everything done through your accounts.

3. Rules of conduct

While using the service you agree not to:

  • harass, threaten, impersonate, or discriminate against anyone;
  • use cheats, exploits, modified clients, or automation tools to gain an unfair advantage;
  • exploit bugs rather than reporting them to staff;
  • share other people's personal information;
  • post content that is illegal, sexually explicit, or hateful;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers, database, or staff tools;
  • disrupt the service or other players' enjoyment of it.

Our in-character roleplay rules, published separately in Discord, apply in addition to these terms.

4. Account linking

Linking your Discord account to your game account is optional unless we say otherwise, and you may unlink at any time by asking staff. Linking lets us match your Discord roles to your in-game permissions — for example, whitelist access. You must not link an account you do not own, or link on someone else's behalf.

Twitch. If you hold our streamer role and stream Brick and Mortar on Twitch with the BNMRP tag (or @bnmrp in your title) while in the city, your Twitch channel is linked to your game account automatically, and your character's public details are shown on the Brick and Mortar extension on your Twitch stream and in our #🔴・live channel (see the Privacy Policy for exactly what). Diamond points earned by watching on Twitch are virtual items under section 7: they have no money value and cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money.

5. Moderation and enforcement

Our staff may issue warnings, kick, temporarily suspend, or permanently ban any account, at our discretion, with or without prior notice. We may also remove content and revoke access to Discord channels or in-game features.

Enforcement actions are recorded, along with the reason and the staff member responsible. You may appeal a ban through the process published in our Discord.

We aim to be fair and consistent, but access to the service is a privilege, not an entitlement.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write and create. By using the service you give us permission to store, display, and relay that content as needed to operate it — for example, showing your chat messages in a Discord channel, or keeping moderation logs.

7. Virtual items and progress

In-game money, vehicles, property, characters, and any other progress have no real-world value and are not your property. They may be changed, reset, or removed at any time — including through data loss, a rollback, a balance change, or a server wipe. We do not offer refunds or compensation for lost progress.

8. Payments and donations

If we accept donations or sell cosmetic perks, those are voluntary contributions toward running costs. They do not buy gameplay advantages, immunity from moderation, or any guarantee that the service will continue. Unless the law requires otherwise, donations are non-refundable. Charging back a donation may result in a ban.

9. Availability

The service may be unavailable at any time, with or without notice — including for scheduled restarts, maintenance, updates, or failures outside our control. We do not promise any level of uptime, and we may change or discontinue any part of the service, or shut it down entirely.

10. No warranty, no liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it, including lost progress, lost data, or interruptions.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Third parties

The service depends on Discord, Twitch, FiveM, and Rockstar Games, and is not endorsed by or affiliated with any of them. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or conduct.

12. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The date at the top shows the current version, and material changes will be announced in our Discord. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Contact

Questions, appeals, and data requests: open a ticket in our Discord server, or email [email protected].
